Ownership & Access Policy

Operated by TradieMate

 

This Ownership & Access Policy outlines how access, licensing, and intellectual property are managed across all digital, creative, and strategic assets produced by TradieMate. This policy applies to websites, advertising accounts, landing pages, content, campaigns, and collateral — unless otherwise agreed in writing.


It exists to provide clarity while protecting the systems, processes, and intellectual property developed by TradieMate.

Website Projects

Ownership
  • Website templates, frameworks, and base code remain the intellectual property of TradieMate.
  • Clients are granted a non-exclusive licence to use the website for their own business use only.
  • Websites and underlying structures may not be copied, resold, or reused by other parties or providers.
Access
  • Full access to the live website is provided unless otherwise agreed.
  • Where TradieMate hosts or manages the site, certain backend systems may be restricted to ensure performance and security.
  • Domain ownership remains with the client, unless registered through TradieMate under a management arrangement.

Advertising Accounts & Campaigns

We work across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok, Microsoft Ads, and other platforms. Ownership and access depend on how the account is structured:
Client-Owned Accounts
Ownership
  • You retain full ownership of accounts you have created or had us register in your name.
  • Platform history, billing profiles, and account permissions are your responsibility.
Access & Use
  • You grant TradieMate the necessary access to manage campaigns.
  • While the account is yours, campaign strategies, naming conventions, and optimisation frameworks developed by TradieMate are licensed for use within your business only.
After Service Ends
  • You retain all access and data.
  • However, any campaign structures developed by TradieMate may not be copied, resold, or adapted by third parties without written permission.
TradieMate-Owned Accounts
Ownership
  • These accounts are created and maintained by TradieMate as part of our managed service offering.
  • TradieMate retains ownership of the account, structure, and billing setup.
Access & Use
  • Access may be provided during the service period for visibility or collaboration.
  • Access levels are determined by platform and campaign structure.
After Service Ends
  • Access may be removed at service conclusion.
  • Data exports or campaign summaries may be provided on request.
  • Ownership of the account or ad history is not transferred unless explicitly agreed in writing.
Billing
  • Clients are responsible for all media spend incurred through campaigns, whether run via their own account or one managed by TradieMate.

Landing Pages, Forms & Funnels

Ownership
  • Pages built on TradieMate-managed platforms (e.g. HighLevel, ClickFunnels) are owned by TradieMate.
  • Clients are licensed to use these during the active campaign period.
Access
  • Editable access is granted during the project.
  • Static or cloneable versions may be provided upon request.
  • System templates and backend workflows remain proprietary.

Creative Assets (Digital & Print)

Ownership
  • Final deliverables such as ad graphics, social tiles, basic animations, and print-ready files are licensed to the client for use in their business.
  • TradieMate retains ownership of editable design files (e.g. PSD, AI, INDD) and video source files unless otherwise agreed.
Access
  • Deliverables (e.g. JPG, PDF, MP4) will be provided on request.
  • Editable source files may be available at additional cost or upon written agreement.

Strategy, Copywriting & Documentation

Ownership
  • Campaign strategies, messaging frameworks, keyword research, and internal documentation remain the intellectual property of TradieMate.
  • Website and ad copy created for your business may be reused internally but may not be shared with other agencies or used for commercial redistribution.
Access
  • Deliverables will be provided in editable formats (e.g. Google Docs, Word).
  • Usage is licensed for internal business purposes only.

Reports & Dashboards

Ownership
  • Custom dashboards created by TradieMate (e.g. in Looker Studio or third-party tools) remain system-owned.
  • Data is accessible during the engagement via live dashboard links or shared reports.
Access
  • Dashboard access may be removed post-service.
  • Clients are encouraged to export reports prior to offboarding.
  • Data exports (CSV, PDF) are available on request during active service.

Licensing & Fair Use

Unless otherwise stated in your agreement:

 

  • You are licensed to use work created by TradieMate for your business only.
  • Our frameworks, templates, automation systems, and campaign methods remain proprietary.
  • Any unauthorised copying, redistribution, or repurposing of these materials may breach IP law.
  • If you need access or transfer beyond what’s outlined here, we’re always happy to discuss a fair and reasonable arrangement.
