Marketing & Advertising Terms of Service
Operated by TradieMate
These terms apply to all marketing, advertising, and related services provided by TradieMate (“we”, “our”, “us”) to you (“the Client”). By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms. These terms are designed to set clear expectations, align with Australian Consumer Law (ACL), and ensure a fair and professional working relationship.
No Guarantees of Specific Results
Marketing outcomes depend on many factors — including industry trends, competition, platform changes, and your own responsiveness. While we apply best-practice strategies and proven methods, we do not guarantee:
- A specific number of leads, sales, or revenue
- Specific rankings, impressions, or reach
- Campaign ROI or growth within a timeframe
- Performance improvements compared to previous providers or campaigns
- Our role is to execute professionally, report transparently, and continuously optimise your campaigns — not to make promises we can’t control.
Transparent Reporting
Client Responsibilities
To ensure your marketing is successful, you’re responsible for:
- Supplying accurate business information and approvals on time
- Maintaining internal systems (e.g. phones, emails, CRMs) to receive and manage leads
- Managing sales conversations, quoting, and customer service internally
If you are unable to follow up on leads or respond to campaign activity, performance may suffer — and this is not the responsibility of TradieMate.
Third-Party Platforms
Account Access & Campaign Infrastructure
In many cases, advertising accounts, campaign structures, and landing page frameworks are owned by TradieMate. We provide access as needed for collaboration or visibility.
This approach protects our systems and ensures a consistent service experience. We are transparent about what you’ll retain access to after services conclude — see our Ownership & Access Policy for full details.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
- Campaign strategy, structure, templates, and internal tools remain the intellectual property of TradieMate.
- Custom assets (ads, graphics, copy) may be shared or exported on request, provided your account is in good standing.
- Our website templates, wireframes, or code remain licensed for use by your business but may not be reused, resold, or repurposed by other providers.
We aim to provide access and flexibility, not restrictions — but reserve the right to protect our systems, tools, and original work.
Fees & Billing
All service fees are outlined in your proposal or agreement and are billed in advance unless otherwise stated. These fees do not include advertising platform costs (e.g. Google Ads, Meta Ads spend), which are billed separately and remain the Client’s responsibility.
Clients are responsible for all media spend approved or enabled during the course of service — whether through their own accounts or accounts managed by TradieMate. This includes ensuring valid billing methods are active, timely payments are made, and spend limits or constraints are communicated clearly in writing.
Refer to the Ownership & Access Policy for additional detail regarding campaign platform use and billing expectations.
Termination
Both parties may terminate services in accordance with the original agreement. Upon termination:
- Active campaign work will cease
- Any outstanding invoices remain payable
- Access to advertising platforms or shared materials will be adjusted based on our Ownership & Access Policy
